2013 - JOY AND HEALTHY SELF-ESTEEM

In 2013, the Pilsen folk festival became even stronger and more attractive in its 17th year. The previous sixteen years of experience brought gradual elimination of beginner errors, great atmosphere on the stage and in the audience, as well as high recognition from the side of the experts – and it meant both more joy and healthy self-esteem. During the 17th International Folklore Festival CIOFF® Pilsen 2013, the 55th anniversary of the foundation of the Pilsen Folklore Ensemble Jiskra was celebrated. The festival was also completed by the exhibition of photographs "Czech Republic - Folklore Power in the Heart of Europe" which was prepared by the Folklore Association of the Czech Republic.
