2017 - EXHIBITION OF HISTORICAL FOLKLORE MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS OF THE PILSEN REGION
In addition to the usual program, it continued its cooperation with the Ethnographic Museum of Plzeň, ZČM in Pilsen in 2017. The Museum of West Bohemia opened its collections to prepare an exhibition and revival of the original historical folk musical instruments of the Pilsen Region. Original musical instruments were presented on the festival stage for which they were prepared by an extensive renovation process and sounded through the streets of Pilsen again. The bagpipes produced in 1909, an oven against clouds, a short violin, or an Es-clarinet from the middle of the 19th century - all these instruments were given back their long-lost sound. Especially for this show, Jaromir Konrady who is a producer of folk musical instruments created a replica of a pastoral pipe from Pilsen.
