Lidová muzika from Chrást is a West Bohemian folk ensemble. In addition to songs from all over Bohemia, it also focuses on the folklore of the Lusatian Sorbs, which it recorded in 2018 on the album "Za čěskimi horami". In 2021, they released the LP "Svatební & pohřební" ("Wedding & Funeral"). Last year, the book "Řemeslo má zlaté DNA" ("Craft Has Golden DNA") was published, including an inserted CD featuring recordings of little-known Czech songs about work, professions, and crafts. In July 2025, the ensemble will represent the Czech Republic at the Euroradio Folk Festival in Rudolstadt, Germany.

The festival is a regular member of the International Council of Organizations of Folklore Festivals and Folk Arts CIOFF.
