The children';s folklore ensemble Stodský dudáček was founded in 1988 by Jana Drábková. The ensemble works at the ZUŠ in Stod. During his career, he participated in International Folklore Festivals in Plzeň, Klatovy, Mariánské Lázně and in 2018 in Strážnice, where he represented his region in the show "Muzičky". He is also a regular participant in the Meeting of Children';s Folk Musicians of the Pilsen Region. In 2015, he took 3rd place in the central round of the Ministry of Education and Culture competition. Currently, the ensemble is led by Miroslav Šimandl Jr. and Vít Hošek. Stodský dudáček consists of a total of 25 children aged between 6 and 18 years. The ensemble performs most often in the cast: three violins, two clarinets, double bass, bagpipes and singers. His repertoire includes folk songs from Chodsk and the wider Pilsen region.

The festival is a regular member of the International Council of Organizations of Folklore Festivals and Folk Arts CIOFF.
