2004 – UNDER THE VRCEN LIME TREE, VRCEN

The 8th year of the International Folklore Festival Pilsen brought successful cooperation with the picturesque village of Vrcen in the south of the Pilsen Region. Since 2004, several foreign ensembles (festival participants) regularly went from Pilsen to the festival in Vrcen to perform their dance and music art not only to give joy to the citizens of the village but also the audience from the surrounding area. The small-scale folklore festival "Under the Vrcen Lime Tree" is under the patronage of the Mayor of the village, Mr Petr Masek. However, the event organization is arranged by Volunteer Fire Brigade Vrcen and by the employees of the Elementary School in Vrcen.
