The Ukrainian Folk Song Ensemble ZGARDA was founded on September 15, 2024, in Pilsen within the framework of the ANT "Talent Factory" association. The members of the ensemble come from various regions of Ukraine and promote Ukrainian folk songs in the Czech Republic (as well as other parts of Europe). The ensemble participates in various international competitions, festivals, and also concerts for the Ukrainian community living in the Czech Republic. The ensemble's repertoire consists of more than 20 songs.

The festival is a regular member of the International Council of Organizations of Folklore Festivals and Folk Arts CIOFF.
