The Cultural and Artistic Association Xheladin Zeqiri from the city of Tetovo (the fifth-largest city in North Macedonia) has a 73-year-long tradition and is one of the oldest associations in the Western Balkans. Throughout its history, the association has performed at numerous events both locally and internationally, including various festival programs and television shows. Overall, the Xheladin Zeqiri artistic association includes a school for young dancers, an orchestra, a choir, a ballet ensemble, and several media productions. Thanks to the festival in Plzeň, the group will be presenting the folk culture and traditions of the Tetovo region in the Czech Republic for the first time.

The festival is a regular member of the International Council of Organizations of Folklore Festivals and Folk Arts CIOFF.
