Trachtenverein Regensburg Stamm
Regensburg, Německo
Festival years: 2015, 2023
The folklore ensemble and folk association Stamm from Regensburg was founded in 1898 and is dedicated to preserving the original costumes and customs of the Upper Palatinate ethnographic region. Around 150 children, young people and adults dance and perform traditional Bavarian dances and songs on various occasions. The group';s greatest joy comes when their audience dances with them. The repertoire includes eighty traditional figure dances, not only from the Upper Palatinate but also from the surrounding areas. An example of such a dance is the traditional Zwiefache dance. The dancers are accompanied by their own music.
Ensemble Leaders: Erich Tahedl and Peter Fink
The festival is a regular member of the International Council of Organizations of Folklore Festivals and Folk Arts CIOFF.
