Rokytička

The children's folklore ensemble Rokytička is currently the youngest branch of the Rokytka folklore groups from Rokycany. The foundations of folklore ensembles in Rokycany were laid in 1967 by Božena Auterská. The first group of children of this new generation began meeting in November 2022, and the ensemble made its stage debut in December 2023.

Today’s Rokytička consists of approximately 25 children aged 4 to 8. The ensemble explores folk culture and traditions, which it presents in a playful and engaging way. It focuses primarily on stage stylizations of customs, songs, and dances not only from the Rokycany region, but from across southwestern Bohemia.
