Kopaničiar

The folklore ensemble Kopaničiar, which has already celebrated its 65th anniversary, is an artistic ensemble that tries to spread and preserve the folklore and traditions of the Myjava region. During its activity, it has received numerous awards and laureateships from prestigious domestic festivals and has successfully presented itself in many places abroad (including Indonesia, China, Venezuela, Canada, Finland, Switzerland, Tunisia, etc.). Since its foundation, the ensemble has had more than 500 dancers and almost 130 musicians. Currently the ensemble consists of 50 members in dance, music and singing sections.

Martin Bunčiak is the leader of the ensemble.
